West Point Has Something Happening Throughout the Year
Graduation Week
One of the biggest weekends on the West Point calendar, when families and friends gather to celebrate graduating cadets and their commissioning. Graduation Week happens in the month of May.
Army West Point Football
Experience the energy of a game day at historic Michie Stadium, set along the Hudson River. Football weekends can turn a West Point visit into a full Hudson Valley getaway.
Family & Parent Weekend
For families visiting their cadet, these weekends are an opportunity to spend meaningful time together while experiencing the Academy and the surrounding Hudson Valley.
West Point's academic calendar includes major cadet and family milestones such as Plebe Parent Weekend and other Academy events.
R-Day and A-Day
Two meaningful milestones in the journey of a new cadet. R-Day marks the beginning of a new cadet's transition into West Point, while Acceptance Day marks the formal acceptance of new cadets into the Corps after Cadet Basic Training.
Alumni Class Reunions & Homecoming
Reconnect with classmates, revisit familiar places, and celebrate the enduring bonds of the Long Gray Line. West Point hosts class reunions throughout the year, including Homecoming, fall reunions, and milestone reunions during Graduation Week. A private home offers alumni and their families room to gather, share memories, and enjoy time together beyond the official events.
